Event demonstration privacy notice.
At trade shows and events, TransVoix runs demonstration stations where you can hear your own voice speak another language. The station needs no account.
At a glance
At our event demonstration stations, we delete the model of your voice when you finish. To finish, you enter your name, company and work email; we keep them with your answers for 30 days, and our sales team keeps a copy to follow up about TransVoix until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
This notice sets out what the station and our team collect and how long each item is kept; our Privacy Policy also applies.
At our event demonstration stations, the periods in this notice apply.
Privacy Policy →How we use your data
To run demonstration stations at events, and to follow up with visitors about TransVoix.
Who processes it and where
What the station collects is kept with cloud hosting and storage providers in the United States, under contract. Section 02 describes the speech and language-model providers that process your voice and what you say, and section 04 the badge exchange and the sales tools our team uses to follow up with you.
Your voice sample and voice model
Before it records, the station asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older and to give your consent. It then records up to thirty seconds of your speech and uses the recording to build a model of your voice, so you can hear yourself in the language you choose and, where the station offers a short practice call with an AI customer, hear your side of the call played back in that voice if you ask for a replay.
TransVoix processes your recording in the United States, using specialist speech providers under contract to transcribe it and to build the voice model. The text of what you say is translated, and in a practice call answered, by language-model providers in the United States.
TransVoix does not store your recording, and the text of your recording is shown on the screen and not stored. We delete the voice model when you finish or start over. If a session ends any other way, for example if the station loses its connection, the voice model is deleted automatically within 30 minutes.
A replay of your practice call is deleted in the same way, unless you save it to your phone. If you save it, your link plays it for 7 days, then we delete it.
Your answers
The station asks three questions: your industry, the contact center platform you use, and how many agents you have. When you finish, we keep your answers with your details (section 04). If you leave before you finish, your answers are held in memory only and discarded within minutes of your session ending.
Your details and our follow-up
To finish the demonstration, you enter your first name, last name, company and work email on the station's screen. If you prefer not to, you can walk away at any point: the station clears the screen after a short pause, keeps nothing you typed, and deletes your voice model and any replay you have not saved. We keep your details with your three answers and the language you chose, so our team can follow up with you about TransVoix. The follow-up record holds no audio, voice model or recording.
We keep the follow-up record for 30 days after your visit, and then delete it. During that time our team copies the follow-up record into the sales and contact-management tools we use to follow up with you about TransVoix, and that copy is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Where an event provides smart badges, our team also exchanges badges with you at the start of the demonstration, and the event's badge system shares the contact details linked to your badge with us under the event organizer's terms. We use them to follow up with you about TransVoix, and keep them in our sales and contact-management tools until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Every follow-up email has an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address, so that we do not contact you again. To see or delete your details, including the copy in our sales tools, email privacy@transvoix.ai from the address you gave us.
Consent record
We keep a record of each consent you give at the station. It holds no name, email or voice data, and it is kept as described for consent records in our Privacy Policy.
